Drywall Repair
Small hole repair, crack patching, texture matching, and wall prep for painting.
Drywall damage is common in busy households, from door handles hitting walls to moving furniture or settling foundations. Our drywall repair service goes beyond just patching holes—we ensure the repaired area blends seamlessly with your existing wall texture and finish. We start by assessing the damage and determining the best repair method. For small holes (nail pops, picture hangers), we use spackle or joint compound. For larger holes, we'll cut a clean area and use a drywall patch or backing board for structural support. We then apply joint compound in multiple thin layers, allowing each to dry completely before sanding smooth. The final step is texture matching—we'll replicate your existing wall texture (orange peel, knockdown, smooth, etc.) so the repair is invisible. After texture application, we'll prime and touch up paint if needed, leaving you with a wall that looks like it was never damaged.
Local Insight
Coastal humidity and older Spanish Revival construction in Santa Barbara's Upper East and Ventura's Midtown neighborhoods often create hairline cracks where plaster meets drywall. We blend repairs to match those textures and account for salt-air expansion.
